Our Judges Education Program (JEP) Breed Appreciation Day (BAD)
and Subsequent Multiple-Choice Breed Standard Examination (MCE)
And “Hands On” (Practical Session)
on Saturday 11th October 2025
At Weedon Village Hall, West Street, Weedon Bec, Northampton, NN7 4QU


£25 for BAD, MCE and Practical Session (Lunch provided) (£20 without MCE)
The Aim of the day is to educate individuals interested in the breed, whether they are exhibitors, aspiring judges, or breeders, and provide them with the information to make informed decisions to preserve and safeguard the breed. To test a candidate’s knowledge of the Breed Standard via a Multiple-choice Breed Standard Exam. To give candidates the opportunity to have ‘hands on’ dogs in the company of a breed specialist. (Judges who are at JEP Level 2, will be permitted to do a Group Mentoring Session which is mandatory as one of your 3 Mentoring Sessions toward your JEP requirements)


Programme
9.30 a.m. – Arrival, registration, and Tea/Coffee
10 a.m. – Breed Presentation by Sue Bird (Joyberna)
11.15 a.m. – Q&A
11.30 a.m. – Multiple Choice Examination Paper
12.30 p.m. – Lunch
1.30 p.m. – Hands On and Group Mentoring
2.30 p.m. – Refreshments and Feedback Form 3 p.m. – End of Day – Certificates will be awarded individually


NOTE: A2 Assessments may be arranged for suitable candidates, dependant on them providing a CV in advance. For All other attendees please complete and send the “Aide Memoire” available on our website ttboc.co.uk, this will enable us to determine your level of progression in your judging careers. It will also be kept on file by the Breed Education Coordinator.
