Breed Awareness Day – next event date to be confirmed
The aim of the Breed Awareness Days are to educate individuals interested in the breed, whether they are exhibitors, aspiring judges, or breeders, and provide them with the information to make informed decisions to preserve and safeguard the breed.
A typical day will consist of:
- Presentation given by a breed specialist
- Opportunity to ask questions
- Chance to have your knowledge tested by sitting a Multiple-choice Breed Standard Exam
- Have the opportunity to have “hands on” experience on a range of dogs in the company of a breed specialist
(Judges who are at JEP Level 2, will be permitted to do a Group Mentoring Session which is mandatory as one of your 3 Mentoring Sessions toward your JEP requirements)

9.30 a.m. – Arrival, registration, and Tea/Coffee
10 a.m. – Breed Presentation
11.15 a.m. – Q&A
11.30 a.m. – Multiple Choice Examination Paper
12.30 p.m. – Lunch
1.30 p.m. – Hands On and Group Mentoring
2.30 p.m. – Refreshments and Feedback Form
3 p.m. – End of Day – Certificates will be awarded individually
